Compared to the vast and confusing underground shopping area around Osaka Station, JR Sakuranomiya Station is just two stops and about four minutes away from Osaka Station, making it easy to find even for first-time visitors. The surrounding area, with its views along the Okawa River and Sakuranomiya Park, is a relaxing urban oasis.
